Volunteer and Chinese Study
Although China has one of the fastest growing economies in the world, it is still a developing country. As China moves ahead there are many people still left behind who fall through the cracks in the social structure. Live the Language is committed to helping local and international organizations improve Chinese communities through education, environmental action, medical care or other necessary services.
There is great demand for people from all walks of life to volunteer in China. This is also an opportunity to make new international friends as you make a real difference helping those in need. Program includes six hours Mandarin instruction per week in a small group class alongside placement in a volunteering organization or NGO, working for example with orphans, migrant workers or the disabled.
Duration: 1 month to 12 months
Includes: 6 hr/wk small group class; Volunteer placement; Survival Kit Standard; Visa assistance; Local support; Accommodation in a centrally located shared apartment
