The Great Wall
At Live the Language Summer Camp your child will make new discoveries while traveling to a country rich with history and tradition. This is also the perfect way to jump-start your child’s interest in Chinese or build upon existing coursework. With this two-week program, your child is able to benefit from true immersion in Mandarin and Chinese culture.
Whether in the classroom or hiking on the Great Wall, students will receive exceptional teaching combined with cultural appreciation and understanding. Students are always encouraged by teachers and staff to communicate in Chinese as much as possible. When they visit the Forbidden City or walk through Beijing’s ancient hutong streets, they’ll be creating lasting memories as they learn and explore.

Support
Live the Language has a well-developed support system for students throughout their stay. Each group of students will always have a 24/7 chaperone on hand to help with their studies and anything else concerning their stay in China. For students 8-12 there will be one chaperone for every 5 students, and for students older than 12 there will be one chaperone for every 10 students.
Housing
Students will be housed in double or triple rooms on the campus of our partner site throughout their stay in Beijing. Each student will have a single bed and each room an en suite bathroom. During their stay students will also have access to the on-site swimming pool.
