We are currently looking for applicants to fill up the following positions:
- Teachers
- Full-Time Interns
1.) Chinese Language Teachers
Job description: Teaching Mandarin to foreigners of all levels and ages. Your tasks will include:
- Conduct 40 hours of One-on-one or Group class at the LtL campus or at the student’s chosen location.
- Prepare class curriculum and study plan according to each student’s needs and requirements. No standard teaching programmes taught again and again to different students.
- Overtime and working on weekends might be required.
- Be involved in helping students settle down in Beijing.
- Actively encourage students to ‘live the language’, i.e. use Chinese outside class and in daily life, make suggestions about activities that will improve skills, recommend books, etc.
What we want:
- At least a Bachelor’s degree in Teaching Chinese As Foreign Language. Graduates of other subjects will not be considered.
- Several years of experience in teaching Chinese to foreigners at a top university or high-end private school.
- Ability to think independently and creatively when planning student’s curricula.
- Good interpersonal and English communication skills, takes initiative and is outgoing.
- Willingness to commit long term with the school.

2.) Full-time Interns
Job description: Largely involved in the sales and marketing efforts to promote LtL in the various markets in Beijing and around the world. Your duties will include:
- Helping the school find new students through all possible channels
- Promoting the school to potential clients and partners overseas
- Joining local community and networking events that target foreigners
- Doing various admin work at the school i.e. translating marketing materials into your native language, etc.
What we want:
- A great passion for China and the Chinese Language
- A good command of Mandarin
- Foreign nationals
- Willingness to work with us for 6 months or more
