One-on-One Classes
One-on-one Chinese classes offer the advantage of having a teacher solely focused on you. This is especially important for improving pronunciation as it is one of the most challenging aspects of speaking Mandarin.
Private lessons allow you to dictate the pace of the course. Live the Language Mandarin School can personalize the curriculum to match your needs and interests.
With standard One-on-One Classes, you get:
- A government-certified and experienced teacher who holds a degree in Teaching Mandarin as a Foreign Language.
- Personalized curriculum to match what is relevant to you and maximizes your learning style.
- Classes held in your home, office, favorite coffee shop or wherever else you feel most comfortable to study. Teacher transport for locations within the 4th Ring Road of Beijing City is included in the cost of class.
If this format does not meet your study needs, LTL also has Group Classes available.

What is a Certified Mandarin Teacher?
In order to be a Certified Mandarin Teacher, LTL requires you:
- Are a graduate of a university program in Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language
- Have a minimum of two years teaching experience
- Pass the LTL recruitment tests ensuring ability to teach at our standards
- Are a full-time member of staff
Executive One-on-One Classes
LTL Mandarin School also offers a private Chinese study program designed specifically for busy professionals who require a flexible schedule. Taught only by our most experienced teachers, you are able to arrange classes with only six hours notice and cancel any class up to two hours before without being charged.
In addition to the standard One-on-One program elements, with Executive One-on-One Classes, you also get:
- Unlimited rescheduling of your Chinese classes
- Chinese class available any time of the day, 24/7 with only 6hrs notice
- Classes available via Skype from anywhere in the world
- All books and study materials
- A course taught by LTL’s best and most experienced teachers only

Classes in Shunyi
We now have fully certified teachers available in the Shunyi area of Beijing. The price for these classes is the same as for regular 1-on-1 classes.
